Clarence, MO (December 24, 2021) – A tractor accident reported near Clarence left one man with serious injuries. At around 4 p.m., on December 22, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at an incident on Shelby County Road 401.
Reports from authorities show that 60-year-old James “Jim” Chinn was working alone on the farm when he was struck by a trailer.
Chinn sustained serious injuries in the accident. He was flown from the scene to University Hospital in Columbia where he was admitted in serious condition.
