Clark, MO (December 30, 2021) – A patch of ice led to a crash that sent two teens to local hospitals with injuries. At around 7:15 p.m., on December 29, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 63.
Reports from local authorities show that a 2001 Mazda B3000 pickup truck was traveling on US Highway 63 when it struck a patch of ice on the roadway just three miles north of Clark. As a result, the vehicle became involved in a collision.
The pickup truck then went off the roadway and collided with a guardrail.
Two people involved in the crash were injured. EMS transported 18-year-old Alexander McConnell and a 17-year-old female to Moberly Regional Medical Center for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
