Ellsinore, MO (December 20, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Ellsinore area left two women injured. At around 9:30 p.m., on December 17, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 60.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a crash between a 2007 Lexus RX350 and a 2004 Kia Sorento occurred on US Highway 60 just one-quarter mile west of Ellsinore. Both vehicles were left totaled and had to be towed from the scene.
Two people involved in the crash were injured. The victims were identified as 24-year-old Sydney Godwin and 26-year-old Mallory Guess, both from Poplar Bluff.
At this time, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
