Grain Valley, MO (December 30, 2021) – One man has lost his life as a result of a worksite accident in Grain Valley on Wednesday, December 29.
Reports from local law enforcement show that a crew of workers with Preferred Plumbing, Inc. was installing plumbing lines near a trench located in the 600 block of Southwest Hillside Drive. For unknown reasons, the trench collapsed. One worker became trapped.
Several emergency crews arrived on-site and conducted a search for the worker. Within 30-minutes, emergency crews recovered the body of 47-year-old Jeremiah Brown.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
