Halfway, MO (December 6, 2021) – Several people were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with injuries following an auto accident on Sunday afternoon in Polk County. At around 12:40 p.m., on December 5, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Highway 32.
Reports from authorities indicate that a 2004 Nissan Sentra was involved in a crash on Missouri State Highway 32 just 3-miles west of Halfway.
The vehicle went off the road, struck an embankment, and overturned.
A 17-year-old male, 18-year-old Olivia Corbin, 21-year-old Quinten Kyle, and 21-year-old Trevor Shelton were all injured in the crash. The four victims were transported to Mercy Springfield for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
