Halltown, MO – Jeanna White Loses Life in Crash on I-44

Halltown, MO (December 19, 2021) – One woman has lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Lawrence County on Friday evening, December 17. At around 5:50 p.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 44.

Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a 2015 Toyota Corolla was traveling on Interstate 44 when the passenger fell from the vehicle just two miles west of Halltown.

After landing on the road, the passenger, identified as 35-year-old Jeanna White, was struck by a 2016 Toyota Corolla.

White was severely injured in the crash. She was rushed to Mercy Springfield for care. Authorities confirmed that she passed away after arriving.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
