Harrisonville, MO (December 5, 2021) – One man was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Cass County. At around 4:16 p.m., on December 2, authorities were notified that a crash on Missouri State Route 2 required assistance.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2007 Kia and a 2020 Dodge Ram pickup truck were involved in a crash on Missouri State Route 2, just ½ mile east of Route K.
The driver of the Kia sustained serious injuries. The victim, 21-year-old Austin Sellars of Harrisonville, Missouri, was airlifted to Research Hospital where he underwent emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
