Hayti, MO (December 18, 2021) – Two men were left with serious injuries following a motor vehicle accident in the Hayti area. At around 11:15 p.m., on December 16, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 412.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2004 Ford F-150 and a 2000 Ford F-150 collided on US Highway 412 just half a mile west of Hayti. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage in the accident and were towed from the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured. EMS transported 47-year-old Joshua Tomlin to Dyersburg Regional Medical Center for care. The second victim, 72-year-old Wayne Terry, was airlifted to St Bernard’s for further assistance.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
