Hazel Hill Township, MO (December 29, 2021) – One woman was left injured as a result of a crash in Johnson County on Tuesday evening, December 28. Just after 6:10 p.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Highway 13.
Reports from local authorities show that a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic on Missouri State Highway 13. As a result, the vehicle collided with a 2001 Chevrolet Impala.
The driver of the Impala, 75-year-old Ginger Matthews, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to a local hospital for care.
