Highlandville, MO (December 2, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Christian County ended in injuries. At around 5:10 a.m., on November 29, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Route EE.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2001 Dodge Ram, driven by 41-year-old Jeremiah Lawson, was traveling on Route EE when it crossed over the center line and struck a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe head-on.
Both vehicles were totaled in the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 55-year-old Rhett Le Duc, sustained moderate injuries in the accident. He was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
