Holden, MO (December 9, 2021) – One man was left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Johnson County on Wednesday morning. At around 7:30 a.m., on December 8, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 50.
Reports from MSHP Trooper M.A. Ebeling show that a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2014 Freightliner collided on the westbound side of US Highway 50 just east of County Road Northwest 1501.
The crash left one person injured. The driver of the Chevrolet, 34-year-old Kyle Cowherd, was treated for injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
