Jackson, MO (December 17, 2021) – One woman sustained injuries as a result of a traffic-related incident in the Jackson area. At around 7:45 a.m., on December 16, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Route 291.
Reports from MSHP show that a 2017 Jeep was waiting for traffic to clear on the westbound side of Route 210. For unknown reasons, a 2006 Mercedes came up from behind and crashed into the rear of the Jeep on the ramp to Missouri State Highway 210.
The driver of the Jeep, 56-year-old Janet Sutton, sustained injuries in the accident.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
