Jefferson, MO (December 19, 2021) – Two people were left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Jefferson area on Friday evening, December 17. At around 5:20 p.m., authorities were called to the site of a crash on Highway B.
Reports from authorities show that a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling north on Highway B when it became involved in a collision with a 2004 GMC Sierra just north of Forest Drive.
The crash left two people injured. EMS transported 40-year-old Melissa Pinckard and 49-year-old Frederick Phelps to Mercy Hospital South for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
