Jefferson, MO (December 8, 2021) – A crash reported in Jefferson County on Monday morning, December 6, left three people injured. At around 11:45 a.m., calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash on Missouri State Highway 231.
Preliminary investigations from Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper D Norton show that a 2018 Toyota Corolla traveled off the right side of the Missouri State Highway 231 just north of Tenbrook Road. The vehicle then overcorrected and crossed over the center lines of the roadway before crashing into a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia. The impact of the crash then sent the truck crashing into a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse.
All three drivers involved in the crash were injured. Arch Helicopter transported 22-year-old Tatyana Kozlova to SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. Both 48-year-old Lisa Beck and 69-year-old Russel Jackson were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
