Jefferson, MO (December 18, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Jefferson County on Thursday evening ended in injuries. Just before 5:30 p.m., on December 16, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 67.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a 2014 Ford Flex was traveling in the left lane of southbound US Highway 67 while making a left turn on Montauk Drive. As the vehicle attempted to cross the roadway, it collided with a 2008 Saturn Vue.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured. The driver of the Ford, 28-year-old Taylor Abel, and the driver of the Saturn, 62-year-old Pamela Williams, were both transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
