Joplin, MO (December 7, 2021) – One teen was left injured following a crash in Newton County on Sunday evening. At around 11:40 p.m., on December 5, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Alpaca Road.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2001 Dodge 2500 pickup truck and a 2006 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck took place on Alpaca Road at the intersection of Greenwood Road.
The incident caused moderate delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
EMS rendered aid to one 15-year-old male injured in the accident before transporting him to Freeman West Hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
