Kansas City, MO (December 18, 2021) – A motor vehicle collision reported in the Kansas City area ended in injuries. At around 5:39 p.m., on December 16, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 29.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a collision involving a 2013 Buick, a 2014 Ford, a 2009 Jeep, and a 2010 Hyundai occurred on Interstate 29 in the area near mile marker 3.4. The crash caused moderate delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the roadway.
A total of four people involved in the crash were injured. EMS transported 44-year-old Trasi Sorrels, 48-year-old Dawn McGaughy, 50-year-old Aaron McGaughy, and 77-year-old Peggy Frerking to North Kansas City Hospital for medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
