Lincoln, MO (December 19, 2021) – At around 8:10 p.m., on December 17, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was requested on-site at a traffic-related incident on Route U.
Reports provided by Trooper D. M. Bochucisnki show that a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling north on the ramp from northbound US Highway 61. As the vehicle attempted to make a left turn onto Route U, it collided with an eastbound 2013 Chevrolet Silverado.
Two people involved in the crash were injured. EMS transported 22-year-ol Nicholas Rotunda to SSM Health St Joseph Hospital Lake St Louis for care. A second ambulance transported 32-year-old Michael Axton to Mercy Hospital in St Louis for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
