Macomb, MO (December 7, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Wright Count left one woman with moderate injuries on Monday morning, December 6. At around 4:13 a.m., authorities were notified that a crash on Highway A required assistance.
Reports from authorities show that 44-year-old Pennie Derryberry was driving a 2018 Nissan Sentra on Highway A when her vehicle was rear-ended by a 1996 Chevrolet Lumina, driven by 32-year-old Brian Campbell.
Derryberry sustained moderate injuries as a result of the accident. She was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
