Marshfield, MO (December 20, 2021) – Two women were left with serious injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Webster County on Saturday afternoon, December 18. At around 1:54 p.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 44.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a crash between a 2011 International LF627 and a 2013 Jeep Patriot occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 44 just four miles west of Marshfield.
The impact of the crash caused the Jeep to strike a ditch and a guardrail before overturning.
Two people inside the Jeep were injured. Both victims, identified as 81-year-old Shirley Miles and 59-year-old Regina Miles, were transported to Cox South Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
