Car Accidents in Missouri
Reports provided by the Missouri Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration show that the state of Missouri ranks 19th out of all 50 states for the likelihood of people being involved in fatal collisions. Between 2012 and 2014, more than 2,300 people lost their lives in accidents throughout the state. Thousands more are left with life-altering injuries that require extensive medical treatment.
Not only are most victims left to deal with pain and suffering, but the financial consequences of accidents can be crippling for both victims and their families. People involved in collisions are often forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars on medical treatment and vehicle repairs while going without wages from work. Even though many injured victims have to take some time off work to recover from their injuries, numerous victims are left permanently disabled and unable to return to work after.
When victims are injured in accidents as a result of other drivers, it is important that they seek the legal guidance of a Maryville car accident attorney as soon as possible.
