Montgomery, MO (December 15, 2021) – One man was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Montgomery, according to reports. At around 10:50 a.m., on December 13, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Interstate 70 that required assistance.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2019 Ford Escape and a 2018 Toyota Highlander collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 70. The crash caused moderate delays in the area near mile marker 167.
One person involved in the crash was injured. The victim, identified as 61-year-old Terry Newton of Castalia, Ohio, was transported to Saint Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis for care.
