Morley, MO (December 3, 2021) – One woman was hospitalized with moderate injuries following a motor vehicle collision in Scott County on Thursday afternoon. Just after 2:20 p.m., on December 2, calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash on US Highway 61.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper J J Schuenemeyer show that a 2008 Dodge Ram pickup truck rear-ended a 2005 Chevrolet Impala on US Highway 61 at the intersection of County Road 430.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 37-year-old Chastity Tragsser, was injured in the accident. Tragsser was transported by North Scott County EMS to St Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau for care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
