Nevada, MO (December 31, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in Vernon County left two people injured. At around 1:20 p.m., on December 30, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 54.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2018 Dodge Caravan were involved in a collision on US Highway 54 just two miles east of Nevada.
The crash caused some delays throughout the area as MSHP worked to clear the scene with firefighters.
Two people involved in the crash were injured. EMS transported a 7-year-old female a 32-year-old Marci Brower, both of Walker, Missouri, to Nevada Regional Medical Center for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
