Oak Grove, MO (December 13, 2021) – An auto accident reported in Jackson County left one teen injured. At around 12:30 a.m., on December 12, emergency crews were notified that an auto accident took place on Interstate 70 that required assistance.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a collision between a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier and a 2019 Nissan Sentra occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 70 in the area near mile marker 25.8.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 19-year-old Keona Wright, sustained injuries in the accident. Wright was transported to Truman Medical Center for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
