Rolla, MO (December 19, 2021) – A male teen was left injured following a truck accident in Phelps County on Friday evening. At around 9:45 p.m., on December 17, calls for assistance came in surrounding an accident on Interstate 44.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a crash between a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup truck and a 2016 Volvo tractor occurred on Interstate 44 near mile marker 188.4. The pickup truck was totaled as a result of the crash.
The driver of the Dodge, a 17-year-old male from Steelville, Missouri, was transported to Phelps Hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
