Senath, MO (December 16, 2021) – An accident reported in Dunklin County left one teen injured. At around 3:10 p.m., on December 13, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 412.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2011 Chevrolet Cruz and a 2012 Kia Optima were involved in a collision on US Highway 412 just one mile north of Senath. The impact of the crash caused the Kia to strike the rear of a 2013 Ford Explorer.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 16-year-old female from Kennett, Missouri, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Piggott Community Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
