St Charles, MO (December 26, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the St Charles area left one man injured. At around 10:10 p.m., on December 25, authorities were called to the site of a crash on Interstate 70.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria became disabled in lane five of Interstate 70 on the Blanchette Bridge. For unknown reasons, the driver of a 2016 Fiat 500X changed lanes from four to five and crashed into the Ford. A 2011 Jeep Wrangler then struck the Fiat.
One person in the Ford was injured. EMS transported the victim, 25-year-old Tuyen Bowles, to SSM Health St Joseph Hospital St. Charles for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
