St Charles, MO (December 4, 2021) – One woman was left with injuries following an auto accident in the St Charles area. At around 8:05 p.m., on December 1, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was requested on-site at a crash on Interstate 70.
Reports from authorities show that a 2011 Kia Sorento was traveling on the westbound side of Interstate 70 when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Kia struck the median wall then returned to the roadway and crashed into a 2008 Ford Taurus near Cave Springs Road.
The driver of the Ford, a 78-year-old female, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Barnes Jewish Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
