St Charles, MO (December 20, 2021) – A woman was left with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in the St Charles area on Friday evening, December 17. At around 4:15 p.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 70.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2015 Ford Taurus and a 2015 Toyota Camry were involved in a crash on the westbound side of Interstate 70 near Missouri State Route 79.
The crash caused some delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
One person involved in the crash was injured. EMS transported 66-year-old Janet Stevenson-Yates to a local hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
