St Francois, MO (December 18, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in St Francois sent three people to area hospitals with injuries. At around 7:20 a.m., on December 17, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Highway NN.
Reports from local authorities show that a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis was involved in a crash on the westbound side of Highway NN in the area just east of Indian Creek. The vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was then ejected.
A 16-year-old male, a 16-year-old female, and a 15-year-old female were all injured. The two females were transported to Parkland Hospital. The male victim was transported to Mercy Hospital South.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
