St Louis, MO (December 31, 2021) – One woman was left with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the St Louis area on Thursday evening, December 30. At around 8:30 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 270.
Reports from MSHP show that a 2005 Ford F-1560 merged onto Interstate 270 from the shoulder into lane three without exercising caution. As a result, the vehicle collided with a 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback near Missouri State Route 367.
The driver of the Subaru, 61-year-old Cheryl Meier, was injured in the accident. She was transported via Christian EMS to Christian Hospital Northeast for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
