St Louis, MO (December 13, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident in the St Louis area ended in injuries. At around 11:40 a.m., on December 10, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 55.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a collision between a 2012 Jeep Wrangler and a 2005 Chrysler 300 occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 55 in the area just north of Butler Hill Road.
The crash resulted in injuries. The victims, 71-year-old Michael Ellis and Elanor Ellis were both transported to Mercy South Hospital for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
