St Louis, MO (December 12, 2021) – An auto accident reported in St Louis left a woman and young child injured. At around 12:13 a.m., on December 11, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Interstate 70.
Reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2012 Mazda 6 and a 2020 Nissan Rogue collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 in the area just west of Interstate 270.
The crash left both vehicles with moderate damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Nissan, 37-year-old Crystal Smith, and her 1-year-old female passenger were both injured in the accident. The two victims were transported to SSMH Health Depaul Hospital via ambulance for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
