St Louis, MO (December 19, 2021) – Two people were transported to an area hospital following a motor vehicle accident in the St Louis area. At around 2:10 a.m., on December 18, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 70.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper M. G. Bennett reported that a 2010 Dodge Charger and a 2022 Peterbilt Conventional collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 near the intersection of Jennings Station Road.
The crash left two occupants of the Dodge injured. The victims, 36-year-old Jerronda Eiland and 41-year-old Timothy Hughes, were both transported to Barnes Jewish Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
