Washington, MO (December 28, 2021) – An auto accident reported in the Washington area ended in injuries. At around 3:40 p.m., on December 27, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a crash on Missouri Route 185.
Reports from authorities show that a 2003 GMC Sierra was traveling in the area of Missouri State Route 185 and Acorn Road when it failed to yield the right of way to a 1999 Dodge Stratus. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Dodge, 25-year-old Joshua Barnett, was injured in the accident. He was transported to Washington County Memorial Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
