West Quincy, MO (December 22, 2021) – One woman was left with serious injuries following a motor vehicle accident in West Quincy on Tuesday evening, December 21. At around 4:20 p.m., authorities were notified that a crash required assistance on US Highway 24.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2006 Chevrolet Impala collided on US Highway 24 during the evening hours.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 76-year-old Helen Griesbaum, was seriously injured in the accident. She was transported by ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
