Jackson Co, MO (February 18, 2021) – A collision between two vehicles in the eastbound lanes of I-470 caused injuries to one person on Wednesday, February 17th.
Reports show that at about 8:55 p.m., a 2018 Hyundai Elantra crashed into the back end of a 2005 Buick Lacrosse. The force of the impact pushed the Buick off the roadway and sent it crashing into a concrete barrier.
The driver of the Buick, a 31-year-old female from Kansas City, was transported by Lee Summit Fire to Kansas City VA Medical Center.
