Lowry City, MO (February 21, 2021) – A driver and passenger were both seriously injured following a rollover accident on Rt C in St. Clair County on Wednesday, February 17th.
Police reports show that the accident took place at about 1:00 p.m. just outside of Lowry City when a 1998 Chevrolet 1500 pick-up truck veered off the roadway. The driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to re-enter traffic and go off the opposite side of the road, where it struck an embankment and overturned.
The driver of the pick-up, a 45-year old male from Lowry City, was transported via ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City with serious injuries.
His passenger, a 39-year-old female, also from Lowry City, was seriously injured during the impact. She was airlifted to Research Medical as well.
