Nevada, MO (February 23, 2021) – On Tuesday, February 23rd, a collision involving three vehicles took place just outside of Nevada on Highway 54 in Vernon County.
Reports show that the accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. when a 2011 Mazda CX7 attempted to make a lefthand turn from the driving lane, cutting off a tractor-trailer in the passing lane, causing the two vehicles to collide. The tractor-trailer then struck a 2006 Chrysler 300 that was in the turning lane, waiting to make a lefthand turn.
The driver of the Chrysler, a 31-year-old female from Nevada, was seriously injured during the collision. She was transported via ambulance to Mercy Joplin.
