Kansas City, MO – Two Responding Officers Injured in Crash on US-71

Kansas City, MO (July 31, 2021) – Two Kansas City police officers sustained injuries while they were responding to an emergency call at about 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 31st.

Reports show that the officers were in a marked patrol vehicle driving on US 71 Highway in the area of East Gregory Boulevard when it was struck by another vehicle. Investigators stated that the patrol car’s sirens and lights were both activate at the time of the accident.
