Richmond Township, MO (July 26, 2021) – An injury-causing, single-vehicle accident took place on Monday, July 26th on Highway H in Ray County.
A local source reported that the crash occurred at about 9:45 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Highway H in the area of Highway T in Richmond Township when, for reasons that have yet to be determined, a 2006 Ford F250 pick-up truck, driven by a 23-year-old man from Lawson, veered off the paved portion of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned.
A passenger in the truck, a 25-year-old man from Richmond, was transported by Ray County Ambulance Department to Ray County Memorial Hospital with injuries classified as non-critical.
The driver sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment at the scene.
According to a police report, the truck was totaled during the impact.
