Rock Port, MO (July 09, 2021) – One person was killed and four more were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday, July 7th in Atchison County.
Reports show that the collision happened at about 7:30 p.m. on Interstate 29, just outside of Rock Port.
38-year-old Jovannah Ross, a resident of Omaha, NE., was traveling northbound on the interstate when she lost control of her vehicle and slid across the grass median, crashing into an oncoming car. Ross died from injuries she received in the crash.
The four occupants of the other vehicle, driver Emily A. Ptacnik, and three children, also from Omaha, were transported to Mosaic Life Care with non-critical injuries.
