Kansas City, MO (June 03, 2021) – A crash involving two vehicles and a double injury took place on US-169 on Thursday, June 3rd in Platte County.
Reports show that the accident occurred at about 6:20 p.m. in the southbound lanes of US-169 in the area of Northwest Englewood Road when a 2016 Ford with a trailer slowed down as it approached traffic and was struck by a 2008 Ford attempting to pass.
The driver and passenger from the 2016 Ford, a man and a woman, both 46-years-old, both from Riverside, sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the impact. They were transported to a local hospital for medical care.
The driver of the striking Ford fled the scene.
