Platte Co, MO (June 28, 2021) – On Monday, June 28th, troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident in Fair Township.
Reports show that the accident took place at about 8:50 a.m. in the southbound lanes of State highway 273, near State Highway 371 when a 2007 Chevrolet truck, driven by a 70-year-old man from Weston, struck a pedestrian.
The force of the impact shoved the pedestrian crashing into a 2019 Ram truck that was parked on the side of the road.
The victim, who has since been identified as 61-year-old Lloyd D. Crawford, also a resident of Weston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
