Saline Co, MO - Three Injured in Three-Car Collision on I-70
Saline Co, MO (June 19, 2021) - On Friday, June 18th, an accident involving three vehicles that caused injury to four people took place in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 in Saline County.
Reports show that at about 5:40 p.m., a 2007 Nissan Altima traveled off the lefthand side of the roadway, struck the median cables, and entered the oncoming lanes of traffic where it collided with a 2019 Chevrolet Camero which, in turn, struck a 2021 Hyundai Elantra.
The driver of the Altima, a 20-year-old male from Independence, and the driver of the Elantra, a 47-year-old male from Colorado Springs, CO., were both airlifted to Centerpoint in serious condition.
The driver of the Camero, a 40-year-old female, and her passenger, a 43-year-old male, both residents of Warsaw, were transported via ambulance to Centerpoint with moderate injuries.
