Belle, MO – Anthony Border Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Highway 28
Belle, MO (November 7, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a pedestrian accident in Maries County on Saturday morning, November 6. At around 3:48 a.m., authorities were requested at the scene of an accident on Highway 28.
Reports from authorities show that 36-year-old Anthony Border was walking near the westbound side of Highway 28 when he was struck by a 2004 Chrysler 200, which was driven by a 16-year-old male.
Border sustained fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Maries County Coroner David Martin.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
