Carthage, MO (November 13, 2021) – An auto accident reported just outside of Carthage left a man and woman with injuries. At around 3:35 p.m., on November 11, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Fairview Avenue.
Reports from MSHP Trooper B. L. Crockett show that the 2014 Kida Forte was traveling on Fairview Avenue when it failed to yield the right of way to a 2008 Ford F-350 at a stop sign. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
18-year-old Faith Duvall and 26-year-old Drew Newman were both injured in the accident. The two victims were transported to Mercy Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Faith Duvall and Drew Newman at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
