Centerview, MO (December 2, 2021) – An auto accident reported in Johnson County claimed the life of a 52-year-old woman from the Kingsville area. At around 1:42 p.m., on November 28, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Route 58.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2014 Lincoln MKS and a 2010 Pontiac Vibe were involved in a crash on Missouri State Highway 58 just one mile north of Route F.
The driver of the Vibe, identified as 52-year-old Vatina Gillespie, sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Authorities pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Lincoln, 18-year-old Bradley George, was treated for minor injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
