Huntsville, MO (November 12, 2021) – Two people were left with moderate injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Randolph County on Thursday, November 11. At around 10:50 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was requested at the scene of an accident on Route JJ.
Reports from MSHP Cpl. Easley show that a 2003 Honda SUV was traveling on Route JJ just 2.5 miles east of Huntsville. For unknown reasons, the driver of the Honda failed to yield to a 2005 Nissan truck. As a result, the two vehicles became involved in a collision.
47-year-old Cory Weathers and 92-year-old Mary Galegor were both injured in the accident. Weathers sought after his own treatment while Galegor was transported to Moberly Regional Medical Center for care.
At this time, MSHP is investigating the crash.
